psycho-active chair

A chair of extremely dynamic forms  which seem to take the coups de fouet of Art Nouveau to the limit. A tribute to Carlo Mollino’s creative freedom, it symbolises the original spirit of Bolidism, an innovative design movement whose founders includes Giovanni Tommaso Garattoni.The structure in wrought iron rods is set on lathe-turned curved feet while the upper crosspiece is in brass, turned on the lathe and chrome-plated. The wafer-thin seat consists of a crossed overlay of walnut and wax-polished palisander sheets. The collection logo is painted on the tip-up leather backrest which is restrained by cords and springs.
